We believe God has given the spiritual gift of pastors and teachers to encourage and exhort us in living (preaching) and to explain the meaning of scripture and transfer that knowledge to others (teaching). We believe the purpose of preaching and teaching is that we all might become mature and attain to the whole measure of fullness in Christ.

We believe a priority of the local church is to support the advancement of God’s work in the world through the giving of time, talents, abilities, skills, gifts, and finances.
